PPH Tail Gas Absorption Tower

Xinda Chemical’s PPH tail gas absorption tower is from China specially designed for treating industrial waste gas with high concentration and strong corrosiveness.The tower body is made of high crystalline polypropylene homopole (PPH) through the whole molding process, no welds and excellent sealing, can withstand hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and other strong corrosive media for a long time, and the working temperature range is wide (-20℃ to 120℃). The internal structure is reasonable, and the gas-liquid contact is sufficient.

It has a high purification efficiency for pollutants such as acid mist, alkali mist, organic waste gas and nitrogen oxides. Its structure is compact, occupies a small area, is easy to install and maintain, and can be customized according to the actual air volume to be processed (1000- 50,000 m³/h). Core working principle

Our PPH tail gas absorption tower through the dispersion - spray absorption process of the packing layer, the waste gas is fully in contact with the alkaline absorption liquid (such as sodium hydroxide solution). By means of acid-base neutralization or physical adsorption reaction, the harmful substances are converted into liquid or solid products. The purified gas is discharged through the gas-liquid separator. The built-in spray system atomizes the absorbent into fine droplets, which come into full contact with the exhaust gas in the opposite direction. Pollutants are removed through reactions such as acid-base neutralization and oxidation-reduction. The purified gas is discharged through the demisting section, and the wastewater is recycled.

Main advantages

Corrosion resistance: Our PPH tail gas absorption tower can withstand over 95% of chemical media such as strong acids (like sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid), strong alkalis and organic solvents. Especially in high-temperature environments (≤120℃), it still maintains stability and effectively deals with highly corrosive waste gas from industries such as chemical engineering and electroplating.

Lightweight and high strength: The material density is only 1/7 of that of metal, making installation and transportation convenient. At the same time, it has high mechanical strength and better impact resistance than ordinary polypropylene. Combined with the weld-free forming process, the service life of the equipment can reach more than 10 years.
