Polypropylene Vacuum Filter Barrel

Xinda Chemical's customized polypropylene vacuum filter barrel is a high-efficiency filtration device primarily made of polypropylene. It offers the following significant features and advantages:

1. Polypropylene is resistant to various strong acids, bases, saline solutions, and most organic solvents. And this makes it widely used in corrosion protection applications. The equipment utilizes all-stainless steel with plastic lining or roller-lined plastic coating to further enhance corrosion resistance and extend service life.

2. Polypropylene has a softening temperature of 150°C and can safely operate at temperatures of 80°C for extended periods. Its excellent heat resistance meets medium-temperature filtration requirements.

3. The equipment features a rational structural design. It consists of a stand, a filtration bottle, and a filter funnel including a collection hopper and two feed barrels. The feed barrels feature built-in filter plates and a removable filter mechanism. The dual feed barrels allow for alternating operation, and also allow for uninterrupted filter paper changes to improve efficiency.

Operating Principle

The Polypropylene Vacuum Filter Barrel uses vacuum filtration technology, and exploiting ambient pressure differences to adsorb mixtures onto a filter membrane (or filter paper), achieving solid-liquid separation. The dual feed barrels of the filter funnel are each equipped with valve control, allowing for independent or alternating operation. It ensures a continuous and stable filtration process.
