Our PP falling film absorber is a new type of wet-wall surface absorption device made of polypropylene (PP) or graphite-modified polypropylene. It mainly consists of three parts: the liquid film distribution section, the absorption cooling section, and the gas-liquid separation section. The working principle is as follows: The absorbent forms a thin film along the inner wall of the tubes through the film distributor and descends. The gas flows through the space inside the tubes in a co-current (from top to bottom) or counter-current (from bottom to top) manner. The gas and liquid phases complete the mass transfer reaction on the liquid film surface. Cooling water is passed outside the tubes to remove the heat released during the absorption process.
